How to access if already a subscriber, or at a subscribing institution

If your institution subscribes to Elgar Advanced Introductions to Law Online then you will normally be able to access the site via your library catalogue. If you are unsure contact your librarian to confirm.

Access is authenticated by one of these options:-

    IP Range Authentication
This is the standard method, and means that you will get automatic access to the Elgar Advanced Introductions to Law Online site when you are within the institution's network. For remote access then you will need to access the site via your network by first logging into the library and following the links to this resource.

    Shibboleth/ Athens authentication
For remote access some institutions require you to use your Shibboleth or Athens ID and Password. This can be entered on the login box on the homepage.

    Username and password
Username and password can be entered on the homepage login box. Please note, each username may only be used by one person at a time and is linked to personalisation features and so this option is not recommended for large organisations.

    Referring URL
In this method the institution will provide a link to the resources from a password protected area on the institutions website or intranet. Users clicking through from this link will then be automatically authenticated.
